About Us
Behind | SHYAM SETU TRUST

What We Do
At ShyamSetu Trust, we believe that true devotion lies in selfless service. Our mission is to uplift lives through compassion, faith, and action. We work tirelessly to bridge the gap between those who are suffering and those who are willing to help — creating a society rooted in empathy, equality, and spirituality.
1. Medical Assistance for the Needy
Health is not a luxury — it is a basic right. Every day, families across India face heartbreaking choices because they cannot afford proper medical care.
ShyamSetu Trust steps in to support them through:
- Full or partial funding of surgeries, treatment, hospitalisation, and medicine
- Emergency financial support for life-threatening illnesses
- Coordination with hospitals, doctors, and crowdfunding platforms
- Providing logistical support and moral encouragement to families in distress
Whether it’s a child fighting cancer or an accident victim in urgent need, we are committed to saving lives with dignity.
2. Education Support for Underprivileged Children
Education has the power to break the cycle of poverty and open doors to a better future. Yet, thousands of children drop out due to financial hardships.
We strive to ensure that no child is left behind by:
- Paying school fees and tuition for children from economically weaker backgrounds
- Providing essential supplies like books, uniforms, school bags, and digital access
- Encouraging girl child education in rural and urban poor areas
- Mentoring students in values, confidence, and life skills
Each child supported by ShyamSetu Trust represents hope — for their family, for their community, and for our country.
3. Spiritual and Devotional Initiatives
Spirituality is the soul of our Trust. We believe that bhakti (devotion) and seva (service) must go hand in hand. Through our devotional activities, we create emotional healing and communal harmony.
We organise:
- Bhajan sandhyas, kirtan events, and religious discourses in honour of Shri Khatu Shyam Ji
- Annadaan (free food distribution) during religious gatherings and in underserved areas
- Spiritual tours and yatras for elderly or poor devotees
- Distribution of sacred items like tulsi beads, holy threads, and spiritual literature
These programs foster peace, unity, and divine connection in people’s lives.
4. Community Support and Social Welfare
We believe in caring for those whom society often forgets — the abandoned, the elderly, the differently-abled, and the homeless. Our community outreach includes:
- Distributing food, clothes, and hygiene supplies to the homeless and slum dwellers
- Providing care kits, walking sticks, and emotional support to elderly individuals with no caregivers
- Helping orphaned children through educational and emotional assistance
- Supporting people with disabilities by enabling access to basic facilities and respect
We treat every individual with love and dignity, regardless of their background.
5. Disaster Relief and Emergency Response
When crisis strikes, immediate support can mean the difference between life and death. ShyamSetu Trust has an active response network to handle:
- Food and water distribution during floods, fires, and other disasters
- Temporary shelters, blankets, and emergency medical supplies
- Coordination with local authorities and volunteers for faster response
- Long-term rehabilitation efforts for families who lose everything
Our disaster relief is built on the principle of humanity first — fast, fair, and without discrimination.
Why We Do It
Because pain has no religion. Because hunger doesn’t wait. Because every life matters.
At ShyamSetu Trust, we don’t just offer help — we offer hope. Inspired by divine values and driven by human compassion, we aim to be the bridge between kindness and suffering.
